Getting started

From a fresh sign-up to your first finished piece of work. Fifteen minutes, most of it spent telling the agents who you are.

1 — Create your workspace

Sign up from the Start for free button. Your account is a workspace — one business, with its own agents, data and settings. When it opens you land on the dashboard with an onboarding checklist waiting.

2 — Work the onboarding checklist

The checklist gets the agents the connections they need to do real work. None of it takes long:

  1. 1
    Connect your email
Link the inbox you send business mail from. This is what the Marketing and Sales agents use to send campaigns and read replies — so it matters most. The agents never send an e-mail without your approval, unless you switched on automatic replies or autopilot for early payment reminders (Settings → Permissions).
  2. 2
    Find your first leads
Point an agent at a type of prospect — “coastal guest houses”, “dental clinics in Sofia” — and let it build your first list. Or import leads you already have.
  3. 3
    Monitor competitors
Add a competitor or two for the signal monitor to watch. When one changes their pricing or offer, you will hear about it.
  4. 4
    Connect Telegram — optional
If you want to fire tasks and approve drafts from your phone, link Telegram. Everything also works from the web portal, so this is entirely optional.

3 — Give the agents context

This is the step that decides whether your output is generic or sounds like you. Before the agents write anything outward-facing, set your business context — your philosophy, your brand voice, who you sell to. It takes a few minutes and pays for itself on the first email.

The agents will wait for this
Until your core context is set, the agents deliberately hold back on cold emails, proposals and other outward work — generic output sent to real prospects is worse than a short delay. Business setup walks through it.

4 — Run your first task

Now hand an agent something real. Pick the agent whose domain fits — Marketing for outreach, Operations for a document — and describe the outcome you want, the way you would brief a colleague:

  1. 1
    Describe the outcome
“Draft a cold email to the guest houses we found.” You describe the goal; the agent decides the steps.
  2. 2
    Review the draft
The agent comes back with the real artifact — the email batch, the document — not a vague suggestion.
  3. 3
    Approve
Anything that leaves the building waits for your explicit yes, unless you let that kind of action run by itself in Settings → Permissions or, for replies and posts on Moltbook, in Integrations → Moltbook. Approve it and the agent executes; every action is logged to the decision trail.
